General Hospital spoilers suggest more cast changes may be coming. Many viewers have noticed the absence of Sasha Gilmore Corbin, played by Sofia Mattsson, but it appears Mattsson might not be able to return soon.
Earlier this year, news broke that Sofia Mattsson had joined Days of Our Lives and will appear there starting in early 2027. If she’s signed for a long-term role, General Hospital may need to find a new actress to play Sasha. GH spoilers are hinting at more cast changes soon.
The show has also promised a special tribute to Tristan Rogers when Robert Scorpio gets his memorial episodes, so Sasha will likely need to return for that story. This could be a good opportunity to introduce a new actress in the role.
Kate Mansi Is Out – Sasha Gilmore Recast In?
Additionally, it was recently confirmed that Kate Mansi, who plays Kristina Corinthos-Davis, chose not to renew her contract and has already finished filming. That leaves an open contract spot and some extra budget for the show.
Producers might consider recasting Kristina, but her character hasn’t had much to do lately. This could be a good time to let Kristina’s storyline rest.
Reportedly, Executive Producer Frank Valentin is interested in leaving the door open for Kate Mansi’s possible return, though things could still change. He may also see more value in recasting Sasha right now.
Sasha Could Bring Romantic Competition To Michael’s Life
There’s potential for Sasha to return with Michael Corinthos’ daughter, Daisy Gilmore, which could create some romantic competition with Jacinda Bracken. Since Willow Cain was the reason Sasha left town, Sasha could learn the full story and seek payback, setting up a dramatic rivalry.
There are plenty of storylines for Sasha at the moment—maybe even more than there are for Kristina—so a Sasha recast could make sense now.
