General Hospital fans were left with a huge cliffhanger on Friday as Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) and Rocco Falconeri (Finn Carr) pulled out of the hospital parking lot, ready to flee. On the way out, Britt smashed their phones and ran them over. However, it looks like one of the phones didn’t quite make it under her tire. Who will find it? Russ Cullum (Andrew Hawkes) is on the prowl and looking for Rocco after figuring out he is the one who shot him. There are many people who want to take Cullum down. His murder is imminent, but who will do it?
General Hospital Cullum Leaving Soap?
Andrew Hawkes has been doing an incredible job of making Russ Cullum a creepy, evil villain. The WSB double agent is making enemies left and right, and it’s only a matter of time until it all catches up with him. According to other news outlets, Hawkes was never placed on a long-standing contract, so his demise could be coming sooner rather than later. Plus, rumor has it he’s already filmed or about to film his final scenes on the show.
He’s been good at throwing his power around and making fans despise him even more. Someone is going to get the perfect opportunity to end him for good. Who will get the honor of ending his reign of terror?
Should GH writers choose to give fans another murder mystery, there are a ton of possible suspects to end Cullum’s life. Who are they?
Who Will Take Down Cullum?
There are plenty of people who could ultimately take down Russ Cullum for good. At the top of the list is Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota). If he finally learns the truth that Cullum murdered Marco Rios, then he’s certainly going to want revenge. This would be the ultimate deception that would push Sidwell over the edge.
Another possibility is Cassius Faison (Ryan Paevey). He is supposed to be a bad guy, but somewhere inside, there is some good. He might end up taking out Cullum to save someone else, perhaps Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) or Lulu Spencer (Alexa Havins Bruening). Cassius could also end up doing the deed to save his sister Britt or Rocco.
Then, there’s Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard). He might decide enough is enough and have Ethan Lovett (Nathan Dean) take down the double agent. Then, there is always the possibility that Danny Morgan (Asher Antonyzyn) or Valentine Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart). If not them, then perhaps Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) and Jack Brennan (Chris McKenna) team up to take him down.
In a real twist, perhaps Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) will really finish him off. It’s confirmed he’s coming back to start filming in June, so it could line up that he gets revenge. Or, maybe Rocco will finish what he started and kill him for going after another beloved character.
There are so many options that could make this a murder mystery that fans will never forget. Right now, it’s all just speculation, but one thing is certain: Russ Cullum will be heading out the door soon.
