General Hospital fans have heard time and time again how Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) just wants to leave Port Charles and die from her disease. She finally skipped town with Rocco Falconeri (Finn Carr), knowing that her death is imminent. Rocco insisted he was okay with watching Britt slip away and said he wanted to be by her side until the end. However, a huge betrayal may come to light and shock everyone, but most importantly, Britt. What shocking news could be looming that will change everything?
General Hospital Leading Up To Shocking Reveal?
Britt Westbourne knows that without medication for her Huntington’s disease, she will die. She’s willing to do that at this point. Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) is locked away in some WSB prison, and she doesn’t want to complete her father’s cold fusion project. What does she really have to live for at the moment?
However, it may soon come to light that for years Britt has been betrayed by Russ Cullum (Andrew Hawkes) and Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota). When Britt first discovered she had the disease and planned to leave and die in peace, what she didn’t know was that it was all part of the big plan.
Most likely, Britt will be brought back to Sidwell and Cullum and finally be told that they had the test results altered. She never had Huntington’s at all. It was their way to manipulate her into complying with their orders. At this point, they plan on killing her anyway, so why not just shed light on all the secrets they kept from her over the years?
The injections being given to Britt were not even actual meds. They were just placebos to make her think they were saving her life.
What Will Happen To Britt?
Of course, there’s a good chance that Cassius Faison (Ryan Paevey) will hear this horrible betrayal being revealed to Britt. He most likely didn’t know anything about it and was left in the dark just as Britt was.
He already wants to get away from Sidwell and Cullum, so will he be the one to save his sister from their reign of terror? Who knows, this could also be when Cassius discovers he’s really Nathan, who’s been brainwashed into believing he was the twin.
Both of these characters are under contract, so chances are they will both survive. Will they kill Cullum and bring down Sidwell?
These are all just speculations at this point. Writers have not confirmed which direction they are going with this storyline yet. However, it just makes sense that Britt does not really have this awful disease.
