General Hospital fan favorite actor has weighed in on the President’s upcoming State of the Union. Recently, the actor also weighed in on the Bad Bunny Super Bowl performance. Fans were definitely split after his opinion seemed to trigger a lot of anger among fans. He then reeled his opinion back in to stay neutral, which is out of character for him. This is not the first time General Hospital actors and actresses have weighed in on their feelings about politics.
ABC’s General Hospital Actors Involved In Politics
Nancy Lee Grahn is known for not holding back when it comes to American politics. She recently took it so far as to say she would not be watching a good friend of hers show because Carrie Underwood sang at President Trump’s inauguration. Grahn did not say why she did not like Underwood, but it did seem to come down to political beliefs.

Another General Hospital Actor Gives His Strong Opinion
On February 24, President Trump will give the State of the Union address. Sonny Corinthos’ ‘fixer,’ Brick, played by ESPN’s Stephen A. Smith, had a lot to say about the upcoming SOTU. Read on to see him go scorched earth on a certain political party.
Stephen A. Smith said, “The President of the United States is going to give his State of the Union address, and the Democrats got other plans. So some are talking about walking out in the middle of this speech. Others are talking about boycotting it altogether and essentially finding something else to do.” he said. “I’m here to tell you that neither is acceptable. Neither should be acceptable. At some point in time, ladies and gentlemen, there’s got to be an adult in the room.”

Stephen A. Smith Calls Democratic Party Petulant and Petty
Stephen is well-known for his fiery rants on his podcast, ‘Straight Shooter with Stephen A. Smith. He explained, “If you’re going to act as juvenile, as petulant, as petty as you accuse the President of the United States of being, how are you ever going to hold a high moral ground, at least high enough to judge him accordingly?
Stephen did not hold back with 20 minutes of raw emotion over something he felt strongly about. He also added, “I’ve never entertained politics in my life. I’m certainly not an aficionado on the issues. I still have a long way to go in learning about all the current issues. But you know what I have? I have common sense. I have decency. I have respect for the office, even when or if I didn’t respect the individual.”
Stephen explained that you have to learn to get along with people for the good of the people you represent, not for yourself. “Because I would understand that as a representative, whether it be that as a representative or a senator in the United States of America, guess what? I have a constituency to answer to. And I have people who need me, who I represent. And whether I like it or not, this individual is in office until 2028.”
President Under Fire For Obama Lion King Screenshot Shared
President Trump triggered outrage over a meme with Barack and Michelle Obama’s faces. Trump shared the picture on his Truth Social platform of the Obamas as apes in Disney’s The Lion King. There were several Democrats in the animation, including Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez as a hyena, Adam Schiff as a giraffe, and even Joe Biden as a monkey. The View’s Whoopi Goldberg was depicted as a hippo. People on social media went nuts over this depiction. The president spoke out and said a staffer shared it, and it was about voter fraud.

He said he would not fire the staffer. Trump explained, “I didn’t see the whole thing,” he added, “I looked at the first part, and it was really about voter fraud in the machines, how crooked it is, how disgusting it is. Then I gave it to the people. Generally, they look at the whole thing. But I guess somebody didn’t.”

I’m not watching and I hope many don’t and I am a lifelong Republican. He has ruined the Republican Party just as the Democrats have ruined their party. It’s all about power and money with politicians. They work for themselves, not their constituents
I refuse to sit and listen to a lying racist greedy narcissist misogynist loser talk for 2 hours I have better things to do. I will tune into MSNBC or CNN after to get the low down.
