Young and the Restless: Chelsea Will Make The Big Change Too
Egan started by sharing a video clip of her darker hair and a glimpse of herself at the salon. At that moment, The Young and the Restless actress teased a change, saying, “You know me! Always craving a change!!!”
With this change, Chelsea will also be going blonde later this summer as well. Now that Egan has gone blonde in real life, Chelsea will follow suit on the show. It may take a bit for Melissa Claire Egan’s new look to appear on-screen, but viewers will be eager to see blonde Chelsea in Genoa City.
Melissa Shares Her Huge Hair Transformation
In the following video, Egan unveiled her new blonde hair. She also posted a photo, giving fans another look at her lighter locks. After her salon visit, Egan thanked everyone for the transformation, describing it as a “fresh new summer look.”
Chelsea will be trying to capture Adam Newman’s (Mark Grossman) attention from Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) and her unborn child, so this bold new look fits her storyline. Even though Adam has moved on from Sally romantically, he still cares about her.
Adam disapproves of Billy Abbott’s (Jason Thompson) role in Sally’s life and worries about him being a bad husband and father. Chelsea will find it challenging to deal with Adam’s focus on Sally and the upcoming baby.
The tension between Billy and Adam will also create drama, so Chelsea’s new, confident look may help her take charge down the line.
