Tammy and Andrea have been busy attending meet-and-greet events over the past few months. They became more active meeting with fans after Season 8. Aside from that, the 1000-Lb Sisters stars hustle online by selling personalized videos on Cameo. Tammy has also kept herself busy by making handcrafted bracelets and participating in podcasts. Andrea is not as active as Tammy online. But she would often appear in Tammy’s posts. They faced some ups and downs, especially on the show. Andrea once reached a breaking point due to Tammy’s mood swings. Fortunately, Tammy agreed to seek help from a therapist. Since then, things have gotten better between the two, and they’re now looking forward to their big day.
Tammy & Andrea Officially Announce Engagement
In an Instagram post, TLC shared a clip of Tammy and Andrea announcing their engagement. Tammy shared a glimpse of her engagement ring before they shared stories about how the proposal went. According to Andrea, the moment was “great,” adding that she couldn’t get down on one knee to make it more romantic. Regardless, Tammy appreciated Andrea’s efforts and told her that she wasn’t mad about it.

Tammy explained the proposal was an “amazing” experience, and everything Andrea did was meaningful. Tammy then shared that she’s excited to continue living life with Andrea and their cat. TLC didn’t exactly share the moment of Andrea’s proposal. But fans will be able to watch it in the upcoming ninth season of 1000-Lb Sisters on September 1, 2026. Many fans expressed their excitment for the soon-to-be married couple.
