Brad Bell Partnered With Jeff Jenkins On Reality Show
The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives, Keeping Up With the Kardashians, and Bling Empire producer Jeff Jenkins is bringing to life a new kind of reality show. He partnered with Brad Bell, who is the head writer and producer of The Bold and the Beautiful, to bring an unforgettable opportunity for those interested in pursuing a career in soap operas.
Jenkins spoke with Variety, in which he revealed the new reality show. It seems the official title has not been settled on but here is the current logline for the new show.
“Jeff Jenkins Productions has partnered with Bell-Phillip Television Productions, producer of legendary soap opera The Bold and the Beautiful, to develop a new reality-competition format, anchored to the long-running series. The Bold and the Unscripted (wt) will bring together a group of reality TV stars, all with thespian aspirations, on the iconic soap opera’s actual studio lot and soundstages to compete for weekly opportunities to secure speaking roles and guest spots on The Bold and the Beautiful.”
Jenkins thinks this show will be unlike anything out there. He admits he wants something new and doesn’t want to “bring you the 300th version of Real Housewives.”
What Will The Winner Receive?
Brad Bell and Jeff Jenkins plan on giving the winner the chance of a lifetime. If they make it to the end and win the competition, they will be given a recurring speaking role on The Bold and the Beautiful.
So far, there are no timelines as to when fans can expect the new show to hit the airwaves. It’s still being discussed, and a final show name is being settled on. Brad Bell and Jeff Jenkins have seen tons of success, so there’s no doubt the reality show will be amazing and something to look forward to.
Along with the new soap reality series, Jenkins is also working on a new reality show featuring Tori Spelling.
