Bringing Up Bates star Warden Bates recently made headlines after sharing photos from his wedding with Kaybrie Patterson. It was a secret ceremony with only a handful of family and friends in attendance. The wedding was held at Carlin’s home, and many fans commended her for her kind gesture. However, many are curious if Katie Bates attended the nuptials, considering that she has cut ties with many of her family members. Keep reading to see if she did.

Warden’s wife recently took to IG to share new photos from her wedding. She confirmed that her father was able to be at her nuptials before he passed, and she’s thankful that her dad got to walk her down the aisle. Kaybrie also shared a photo of her parents and in-laws, Gil and Kelly Jo. According to Kaybrie, their wedding was held on May 5th. Sadly, her father became unresponsive the next day and passed three days later.
She wrote, “On May 5th, my dad walked me down the aisle. It was simple, emotional and beautiful in a way I will spend the rest of my life trying to find words for. The next day he became unresponsive, and three days later he went home to be with the Lord.” Many Bringing Up Bates fans showed support for Kaybrie and her late father. But some fans can’t help but get curious if Katie was there at the ceremony.
Katie Bates Spotted At Wedding Amid Family Fallout
Katie was spotted at Warden’s wedding, but she has yet to confirm herself that she attended Warden and Kaybrie’s special day. However, the Bringing Up Bates star liked Warden’s wedding photos on IG, showing that she cheers for the newlyweds. Katie made a surprise appearance, joining her family at Warden’s wedding during such a horrible past few weeks of accusations against the majority of them. She was seen in a picture holding her daughter, Hailey. So it seems the bitterness she feels toward 90% of her family does not extend to Warden.
On the same day the wedding photos were uploaded, Katie took to IG to share photos from her quick vacation at a beach with Travis. She captioned, “Took a break from the packing and landed at the Jersey Shore 🌊☀️ Seventh annual trip and it’s off to a pretty good start 🙂 🩷.” This may indicate that Katie didn’t go to Warden’s wedding.
Katie previously shared that she decided to address a part of her traumatic childhood. But she ended up losing “90%” of her relationships with her family. She didn’t exactly name who they were, but she assures fans that she will no longer stay silent talking about her difficult past. Katie and Travis will also leave Tennessee by the end of this month. It is believed that they’re relocating to Texas due to Ellie’s now-deleted comment on Katie’s moving post, talking about Texas.
