The Little Couple star Jen Arnold has been sharing a lot of health concerns on her social media. The most recent is Zoey going under the knife. Before that, she posted a long statement on Instagram that included both positive and negative health news. Jen finally had some teeth removed.  Then Jen had some unfortunate news for fans of The Little Couple. She disclosed that both she and Bill had received a COVID diagnosis. She thinks they contracted the illness while traveling to New Orleans since she woke up feeling ill.

Zoey Klein’s obstructed airway

Jen Arnold took to social media once again to inform fans that Zoey is going in for surgery. She asks, “Please keep Zoey in your thoughts today. We’re hopeful for a smooth procedure and answers that will help her breathe—and sleep—a little easier.”

Jen explained: “Today is surgery day for Zoey. 💜 She’s heading in for an airway evaluation under anesthesia to better understand what’s causing her obstructive sleep apnea. Like so many kids (and adults) with achondroplasia, sleep apnea can be a common challenge because differences in the airway anatomy can make breathing during sleep more difficult.”

Arnold continued, “While it’s never easy to watch your child head into the operating room—even as a physician—I’m incredibly grateful for the specialists who dedicate their careers to caring for children with skeletal dysplasia @bostonchildrens. Understanding why sleep apnea is happening is essential because the treatment isn’t always the same for everyone. This airway study will help guide the best next steps for Zoey.”

The Little Couple: Jen Arnold’s Warning

If your child snores regularly, has pauses in breathing, restless sleep, daytime sleepiness, behavioral changes, or morning headaches, don’t ignore those signs. Sleep apnea is more than just snoring—it can affect learning, growth, heart health, and overall quality of life. Early evaluation and treatment can make a tremendous difference.

Jen wrote, “Sometimes it really feels like life piles everything on at once! Right now, we’re focusing on rest, hydration, and giving our bodies time to recover.”

Jen added: “Thank you to everyone who has reached out, checked in, and kept Zoey in your thoughts today. We’re so grateful for the incredible teams who care for children with expertise, compassion, and kindness.

And Zoey…thank you for reminding all of us that courage doesn’t always look loud. Sometimes it looks like a smile, a silly pre-op video, and the confidence to keep moving forward. ❤️”
