In an Instagram post, Big shared a photo with Liz. However, the 90 Day Fiance star clarified that it wasn’t an intended meet-up. Instead, he happened to run into Liz while he was in NYC. But what caught the attention of many was Big Ed’s caption, saying that Liz was “the one that got away.”
Many fans mocked Big Ed, saying that he must’ve meant the one who “escaped.” Others blamed Big Ed for fumbling her future with Liz. Several commenters were also amazed by Liz’s glow-up.

How’s Liz Amid Cancer Battle?
Liz has been getting a lot of sympathy from fans after announcing that she was diagnosed with stomach cancer in late 2024. The 90 Day Fiance star revealed that she’s been undergoing chemotherapy, which explained her drastic 62-pound weight loss.
Liz has yet to share new updates about her cancer battle. But many of her IG posts today indicate that she’s been recovering well. She previously posted photos from her trip around Washington. Liz has also been endorsing beauty products, and even supports the store of Big Ed’s ex, Rose Vega.
Last week, Liz revealed in the comments section of her clip that she has entered remission. She told her friend, “thank you so much girl ? best kind of pick me up after entering remission ? huge congratulations to you on your grand opening of your own salon ❤️?? ?,” after getting a stunning hair makeover.
