Many General Hospital fans have missed Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) since he died in December 2024, but you’ll soon see Hofer play a new character on a different show.

Some General Hospital fans want the writers to undo Dex’s death and give Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) back her old love interest. Given the resurrection of Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) and Nathan West (Ryan Paevey), anything is possible.

Hofer received a lot of support from General Hospital friends and fans after announcing his new gig.

Tabyana Ali who plays Trina Robinson said: “IM WATCHING FOR E!!”

Michael Easton (Ex Hamilton Finn) gave him applause, sharing “Definitely???”

  • Looking good! Def will watch anything you’re in ?
  • “Looking forward to watching!! Miss you and your smile on GH ??”
  • “Congrats!! Will definitely watch, Evan! ❤️?”

Make sure to tune in to watch 9-1-1: Nashville if you want to see Evan Hofer back onscreen. Keep in mind, in the realm of daytime soap operas, resurrections are a common occurrence. In true soapy fashion, Josslyn might finally heal after Dex’s devastating death and finally get serious with someone. That would be the perfect time for Dex Heller to come back to life, right?
