General Hospital fans know there is more than meets the eye when it comes to Ethan Lovett (Nathan Dean). He mysteriously returned to Port Charles after years abroad and immediately wants to work for Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard). Plus, it’s already been revealed that he has a connection to the late Delilah Wilson (Lily Cardone). When the truth finally surfaces, Ethan may prove to have more power than anyone could have imagined.
General Hospital: What Secret Does Ethan Hold?
General Hospital fans have been circulating a lot of rumors about Ethan’s real motive for returning to Port Charles. Everyone already knows he knew Delilah, but that has just brought up more questions. When he was at the Quartermaine mansion, he was obviously staring at baby Phoebe.
Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) and Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) want to adopt the baby, but this could potentially become a huge problem. Not only could Brook Lynn eventually take the fall for her involvement in Jordan and Curtis’ wreck, but other things from her past could surface.
After Wednesday’s episode, it’s obvious there is a connection between Kristina Corinthos-Davis (Kate Mansi) and Phoebe. Ethan even asked Kristina if she thought the baby would be happy with Brook Lynn and Chase. It seems Ethan may hold all the answers about where Phoebe came from and the secrets Delilah was keeping close.
A Biological Connection?
Everyone is anxious to know if Ethan is the father of Phoebe. He does seem drawn to her, but it’s unknown if that is because he was protecting Delilah or if he’s the baby daddy.
Of course, Kristina brought up losing her baby and the grief she feels. Is this a big precursor for what’s to come? Ethan asks Kristina if she thinks the baby will be happy with Brook Lynn and Chase. It’s obvious the wheels are turning in Ethan’s mind. Two things could possibly be happening. Everyone knows that, regardless of her connection with Ethan, Delilah was running from something.
It might be far-fetched, but in the world of soaps, anything is possible. Perhaps the same clinic that helped impregnate Kristina is involved in shady business, such as genetic harvesting or manipulating embryos. Ethan could be aware of the clinic and the evil they are doing. He is aware that the identical procedures that led to Kristina’s pregnancy were used to extract or modify the genetic material needed to create Phoebe. Phoebe might be a clone made from the same collected material or possibly a genetic sibling to the child Kristina lost. Somehow, Delilah was forced to participate.
Or, in simpler terms, it could be that Ethan is the father and wants the best life for his daughter. Is that with Kristina instead of Brook Lynn and Chase? Either way, Ethan holds all the power, and when it comes down to it, he may be the deciding factor on who adopts Phoebe.
If a war erupts between Kristina and the Quartermaines, Ethan and Kristina both have Sonny on their side. Will Alexis Davis (Kathy Lee Grahn) find herself fighting for Brook Lynn and Chase against her own daughter? When will the secrets Ethan holds come to light?
