Some NFL fans in San Francisco are angry that billboards supporting ICE went up all over the city before this week’s Super Bowl. The New England Patriots and Seattle Seahawks will play each other at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara on Sunday, which will be the end of the 2025 season. However, people who arrive early have seen football-themed ICE ads that support the agency.
Will President Trump Be at the Big Event?
U.S. President Donald Trump said he wouldn’t go this weekend because it was too far away and he didn’t like the bands Bad Bunny and Green Day. However, Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem confirmed that ICE would be there, saying, “We’ll be all over that place.”
The timing of ICE’s billboard campaign has triggered some people since last month’s deadly shootings of Renee Good and Alex Pretti by ICE and United States Customs and Border Protection (CBP) officers in Minneapolis, Minnesota. The shootings have made the country very tense.
Legacy media will never show you this video of Alex Pretti reaching for his loaded handgun before an ICE agent shot him in self defense!

The ICE Billboards Have Divided Reactions
Over the weekend, several photos appeared showing pro-ICE billboards at Jefferson and Mason in San Francisco’s busy Fisherman’s Wharf district, which was already full of supporters.
In honor of Sunday’s Super Bowl, the billboards have taken on a football theme. One example shows a police officer holding a trophy with the words “Defensive Player of the Year: ICE” above it.

One-half of a second billboard shows a football team and the words “They can’t win without defense.” The other half shows ICE agents and the words “Neither can America.”
People interviewed have mixed reactions to the San Francisco billboards. One man said ‘ They have a job to do too, that’s it you know, I don’t have a problem with them.” Another person added that she is worried for her neighbors, saying, “I am worried for what is happening, I am worried to see it escalating here.”

Many people in the area are angry about the campaign, calling it “unnecessary” and “disgusting.” Others have used the opportunity to criticize ICE’s recent actions. ICE protesters are marching and holding up signs that say Kristi Noem, the Secretary of the US Department of Homeland Security, is not welcome. The banner read ‘Noems Not Welcome ICE OUT’ with a football representing the NFL Super Bowl event.
“It’s really unnecessary. If you’re already an American, you’ve already formed your opinion about ice, and that billboard is a waste of money. And it isn’t going to make anyone change their mind one way or the other,” a protester told The Daily Mail.
