The General Hospital Preview for July 6–10 reveals Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) slapping WSB Head Z (John Oliver) and Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) approaching Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) with an unexpected request. It appears to be another exciting week in Port Charles. General Hospital’s preview for the week of July 6 opens with a clip of Z walking into Josslyn Jacks’ (Eden McCoy) hospital room.
When Z walks in, Josslyn is in bed and appears scared. Carly can be heard in the voiceover saying, “My daughter has risked her life in the name of duty for the last time.”
Carly slaps Z’s face severely after saying this, which the WSB head warns will irritate Josslyn. There’s little chance that Z will let go of the agent because he is so impressed with Josslyn’s actions at Wyndemere and the fact that she shot WSB Director (and double agent) Ross Cullum (Andrew Hawkes). It sounds like Carly won’t take no for an answer, but will this change Z’s decision?
Anna Comes Home
As things change, Anna will formally return to Port Charles, and her family will throw a “welcome home party.” As Felicia Scorpio (Kristina Wagner) ushers Anna back into her apartment, a scene in the General Hospital promo video features Mac Scorpio (John J. York), Emma Scorpio-Drake (Braedyn Burner), and Giovanni “Gio” Palmieri (Giovanni Mazza) yelling, “Welcome Home.” Anna looks like her old self, even though fans know she’s far from it, as she gives her friends and family a warm smile.

Liesl Asks For Her Nemesis’ Help
In one scene, Emma tells Anna how happy she is to see her grandmother again while giving her a hug in their condo. Another clip shows Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) there as well, giving Anna a warm hug in her home.
In addition to being pleased that his friend is back in PC, Dante might be thrilled to return Anna’s position as PCPD police commissioner. As the preview wraps up, the final scene shows Anna opening the door of her apartment, and she has a stunned look on her face.
On the other side of the door, Liesl tells her frenemy that she is here to request assistance. According to General Hospital spoilers for the week of July 6–10, there will be some significant highs and lows as new storylines emerge in time for sweeps month and the arc surrounding Cesar Faison’s (Anders Hove) project draws to a close.
