General Hospital fans are concerned for Jack Brennan (Chris McKenna). Everyone had their doubts about him in the beginning of McKenna’s reign as the character, but now feelings are changing. Viewers mostly agree they like his character and want him to stick around, but is Brennan’s life about to take a really bad turn? Is there murder in his future? His future on the show is in question, and many fear his time is running short. Brennan appears to be gearing up to stare death in the eyes. Will he wind up dead?
General Hospital Sending Brennan To His Grave?
General Hospital’s Jack Brennan now knows that Ross Cullum (Andrew Hawkes) is a double agent. He’s not the director everyone thought him to be. He’s bad to the bone and working with Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota) to complete Cesar Faison’s final project. Brennan is determined to bring him down and also protect Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) and Carly Spencer (Laura Wright).
Brennan appears to be redeeming himself with fans, and now many hope that he’s not about to be murdered. Many are discussing various scenarios on social media regarding Brennan’s fate. Of course, there is the chance that Brennan could die trying to save Joss or Carly. Sidwell has no problem killing anyone who gets in his way. Then, of course, there’s Cullum. He knows how to make bodies disappear.
Of course, there is one more possibility. Willow Cain (Katelyn MacMullen) might be given orders by Sidwell to take care of Brennan. After all, Brennan has the footage of Willow being on Drew’s street the night he was shot. Will she go to great lengths to make sure that secret never gets exposed?
Should Brenna go down in flames, he won’t go without a fight and possibly take down Cullum or Sidwell with him. It’s unlikely Willow will die at the hands of Brennan, but anything is possible in Port Charles. Brennan could very well be killed off. However, it’s important to note that it wasn’t long ago that Chris McKenna signed a contract with GH as a regular character. There’s very little chance his contract would be up so soon.
So, if Brennan lives, what is about to go down?
The Future Of Jack Brennan
General Hospital fans seem to agree that if Jack Brennan sticks around Port Charles, he will need some new flair to his character. For starters, it’s pretty clear that he and Carly are done. He just doesn’t know it yet. Most agree he will need a new love interest, and that could be Anna Devane (Finola Hughes). There is some noticeable sizzle between the two that could lead somewhere in the future.
If predictions are true, Brennan might be the one to take down Cullum once and for all. In doing so, he might end up critically injured trying to save Joss or Carly, but he will ultimately survive. Once Cullum is gone, Brennan should be in line to take over the director role of the WSB. Since he and Carly will be over, Joss and Brennan may have a great boss/agent relationship.
Overall, fans aren’t ready to say goodbye to Jack. Do you think he’s sticking around for a while? Will he be the one to kill Cullum or send him to prison?
