90 Day Fiance star Leida Margaretha is, without a doubt, one of TLC’s most hated & controversial cast members. She has faced multiple charges over the years and has already spent some time in jail. However, things are only getting worse, as new reports reveal that Leida could face years in prison following the death of her newborn daughter, Alisa. Keep reading to see the horrific details.
‘90 Day Fiance‘: Leida Margaretha Has Been A Criminal
In July 2025, Leida’s newborn daughter tragically died from horrific multiple injuries. Months after baby Alisa’s death, Leida faced identity theft charges. Last September, court files reveal the 90 Day Fiance star making fraudulent transactions using her employer’s money between September 1, 2023, and October 6, 2023. A local business claimed that Leida has been using a customer’s banking details to pay for her bills. But identity theft and fraud are not the only cases Leida is facing today, as she could now face life in prison. Leida was also recently up for animal abuse.
Leida Facing Years In Prison
A fan page for reality TV, @90dayfianceupdate, recently shared new information regarding the death case of Leida’s 5-week-old daughter, who died on July 9th, 2025. The autopsy revealed that the death was “non-accidental.” The official report read, “The agency found a preponderance of the evidence to substantiate maltreatment of physical abuse to the infant by the mother.” It was also revealed that the baby suffered multiple injuries, including a fractured back, which Leida acknowledged while the child was in the ICU on life support.

The initial assessment of neglect of the infant’s now 12-year-old half-sibling was also unsubstantiated. Leida took her 12-year-old son with special needs back to Indonesia to be with her parents in July 2025. At this point, people are now waiting for an official arrest. Many also took to the comments section to share their thoughts on the horrifying case.

‘90 Day Fiance‘: Leida Margaretha’s Disturbing Audio
The same 90 Day Fiance fan page also uploaded Leida’s conversation with a blogger named Maria; John Yates first published the audio. In one of Leida’s voice messages, she revealed that the baby was “dropped.” However, she noticed that Alisa was still kicking her feet, so she assumed that she was okay and didn’t call 911. The baby was fine when the authorities and Eric left on July 5th, 2025. Eric was booked around 2 AM on July 5 and was charged with misdemeanor battery and disorderly conduct. He and Leida had been fighting, and he admitted to slapping Leida. He then went to sleep in his car.
On the same day at 3 AM, Leida began to share photos of a passed-out Eric, calling him out nonstop. Baby Alisa passed on the 9th of July, but the autopsy revealed that the injuries she suffered from occurred on July 5th. Leida accused Eric of hitting the baby’s back when they were told at the hospital about her back injuries, adding that it’s also the way he hits her. But some fans are not having any of Leida’s explanations, saying that she’s a monster, a psychopath, and a pathological liar.

Disturbing Update: Eric Rosenbrook’s Claims
Eric Rosenbrook told TMZ that his wife, Leida, did not kill their 5-week-old kid, Alisa. As per the state of Wisconsin’s autopsy report: “The agency found a preponderance of the evidence to substantiate maltreatment of physical abuse to the infant by the MOTHER.
Eric also says that the report’s mention of broken ribs might have happened during CPR, since ribs can break when someone is trying to save someone. Eric states that their own expert concluded that some important measures were omitted and that the report failed to accurately determine or clearly identify the age of a fracture mentioned in the study.
Eric also says that their private medical examiner believes one injury may have occurred during labor, possibly during Alisa’s C-section about five weeks before her death. Eric did not have an excuse for the baby’s fractured back that Leida acknowledged in one of her voicemails that blogger JOhn Yates obtained. Blogger John Yates has more evidence that debunks all of Eric and Leida’s claims. He has text messages and recordings of phone conversations that are mind-blowing.
