General Hospital spoilers reveal that Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) is going to leave Port Charles with his girlfriend to help Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) get out of the mess she’s in.
At the moment, Britt is being forced to help Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota) and WSB Head Ross Cullum (Andrew Hawkes) finish Cesar Faison’s (Anders Hove) last project.
They keep using her Huntington’s disease medicine as a way to get her to do what they want. With the help of Lucas Jones (Van Hansis) and Marco Rios (Adrian Anchondo), the plan is to find out what’s in the drug so that Britt doesn’t need to get injections from Cullum.
Then Britt and Jason will leave. In the episode that aired on Wednesday, March 12, Carly and Jason said goodbye in a very emotional way.
Jason first went to see Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) to make sure he was looking out for Carly’s best interests. He told Valentin to look out for his bestie.
General Hospital Jason Morgan’s Exit
Jason is about to leave town, but not for good. He and Carly both promised to talk about their adventures when he gets back.
Fans of General Hospital know that Steve Burton is taking a short break from the show, though.
Burton himself said on his podcast with Bradford Anderson (Damian Spinelli) that he will be leaving sometime around the end of March.
Lucas will need a few more days, maybe even weeks, to get that medicine and copy it. So will Jason’s trip with Britt be his last?
There is no proof that Kelly Thiebaud will take a break with Burton, but anything is possible. They could definitely write her out for a couple of weeks.
Britt and Jason may leave town together, but Britt comes back without Jason? If this happens, Carly will be livid; she already has a problem with Britt.
Laura Wright Explains Why Carly Hates Britt
Laura Wright told SOD that the real reason Britt annoys Carly more than ever is that Jason didn’t tell Carly enough about Britt being alive or his 5 Poppies Rescue mission. So, imagine the rage Carly will have when Britt comes back to Port Charles without Jason.
Britt and Jason had a lot of fights about how Jason always put Carly and her kids before her in their relationship.
Jason is going above and beyond to show that Britt is his top priority, even giving up time with his son, Danny Morgan (Asher Antonyzyn).
This is especially interesting because Danny’s mom, Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco), died less than two years ago.
Jason is all Danny has left, and some people might say that it is very irresponsible of Jason to go on such a mission and leave his son behind with Britt.
Carly will be very angry if Jason doesn’t come back and Britt does. These two women already don’t get along, so this will only make things worse.
Carly won’t think twice about calling Britt out for being selfish by taking Jason away from his family and being the reason he’s “gone.” Carly will also remind Britt that Danny is now an orphan because of her.
General Hospital spoilers say that Steve Burton will leave the show in late March but come back in July. If Jason is thought to be dead, though, it will be a long three months before Carly and Britt see him again.
