General Hospital’s Delilah (Lily Cardone) was probably running from some bad people who may have put her in this traumatizing state and caused her to go into labor too soon. When Chase (Josh Swickard) and Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton) found her very pregnant and lying on the ground, she wouldn’t let them call the police and said she just had low blood sugar.
They talked her into going to the hospital, where Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) worked to make sure her baby was safe. But things changed fast on the March 3rd show.
Britt Westbourne will try to save Delilah and her baby with an emergency C-section on March 4th. Sadly, Delilah’s internal bleeding may make it impossible to help her in the end. Delilah may ask Brook Lynn to raise her baby if she doesn’t make it through surgery.
It’s quite possible that Delilah’s baby will be the only one who survives the operation. Britt may have a difficult time losing a patient if Delilah doesn’t make it.
Elizabeth Consoles Britt, and Jason Leaves Town?
SOD spoilers reveal Liz (Rebecca Herbst) will see Britt having a hard time with her feelings and will try to help her feel better. Maybe this will tie into Jason leaving town and Steve Burton’s exit until his summer return. Britt’s distress over losing Delilah may trigger Jason to dig deeper.
Speculations are rampant about Delilah’s tattoo linking her to the dangerous Dawn of the Day cult leader Shiloh. Britt may also tell Jason about the cult-looking tattoo; Jason could go on one of his stealth operations to track down who is after Delilah and, in the end, is responsible for her death. He could also do back-to-back secret missions involving Anna Devane as well. Jason recently updated his will, so whatever happens, Danny will be taken care of while he is gone.
Chase and Brook Lynn will most likely respect Delilah’s last wishes and try to adopt her baby. If there is no father and no other family members to contest it, it should be easy to do. But then, who was Delilah running from, her baby daddy? This could be a bumpy ride for Chase and Brook Lynn.
