After the breakup between Little People Big World’s Matt Roloff and Caryn Chandler, it seems the Roloff family has taken steps to healing since Matt Roloff’s longtime girlfriend left.
The final season of Little People Big World was very difficult to watch as the Roloff kids all moved away, putting distance between themselves and Matt & Caryn. Matt did not get to see his grandchildren as much because of the animosity caused over the Roloff family farm going on the market and not being given to a Roloff heir.
Zach’s wife Tori Roloff was livid and blamed a lot of it on Caryn Chandler. Jeremy and Audrey Roloff also blamed Caryn for the Roloff Farms snub. The last 2 seasons focused on the farm and Tori & Zach moving away to Washington.
Amy Roloff and her husband, Chris, were both neutral and instrumental in keeping Matt connected to his kids. Matt and Chris got along famously, and Amy seemed to get along with Caryn after all of the hurt divorce feelings subsided. It seemed that the two getting along kept the show on air a few seasons longer.
Little People, Big World: Last 2 Seasons, Writing On The Wall
In seasons 24- 25, the way Caryn talked really gave the impression that she knew she wouldn’t be with Matt long-term.
During the house build, it seemed she was just trying not to come across as a gold digger (which is what fans called her), but with the breakup happening not long after, it’s obvious now that she was already halfway out the door.
Caryn Chandler ended her relationship with Matt Roloff after eight years together; she starred with Matt on his family’s show ‘LPBW’. Including his ex-wife Amy, whom she was accused of breaking up their marriage. Little People Big World surprised fans by ending their short engagement in July. Matt addressed the breakup on Instagram, describing it as the “right step for us at this time” and saying it was an amicable decision. Caryn, who is also getting older, claimed she wanted to live without drama. The ongoing issues with Matt and his family became overwhelming for her.
Matt Roloff Today
Matt Roloff’s life seems to revolve around his grandkids now. There were years when he did not get to see most of them. LPBW fans know how close he was to Jackson, building him a life-sized Noah’s Ark and a plane on Roloff Farms. Those days were over after the huge family feud over the property.
Since Caryn left the family, Matt has spent Christmas with his sons and all of his grandchildren.

Isabel Roloff, Jacob’s wife, shared a video of the Roloff men and Chris Marek, Matt’s ex-wife Amy Roloff’s new husband, on Instagram.
“Yes, we got them in matching sweaters?” Isabel wrote over a video of twins Zach and Jeremy sitting on a couch with Matt, Chris, and Jacob standing behind them.
The kids have been back to the farm, which Tori and Zach said they probably would never come back to after their poor treatment over Roloff Farms. Audrey and Jeremy have been back picking berries with their children.

It seems forgiveness for Matt has started. He shares many trips and special times with his kids. He still goes to Arizona to visit his mother, Peggy “huny” Roloff. Caryn has moved on and seems to have never looked back. She sold her Oregon home and moved to Arizona full-time to be with her daughter and parents.
