She’s been sharing updates about her recovery from a cardiac illness as well. However, things are getting even more difficult, as Amanda opens up about her mother suffering from a stroke. ‘1000-Lb Sisters‘: Amanda Halterman Opens Up About Health
Amanda recently shared a video on Facebook talking to her fans. The 1000-Lb Sisters star revealed she’s not what she used to be anymore, adding that her health issues have taken a toll on how she lives her life. Amanda said her hands were kind of “forced” to make changes because her nervous system can’t take the stimulation.
Amanda then admitted that she can take all the sickness and become as “soft” as she ever was. However, she couldn’t stomach seeing her kids witness her at her worst. Many fans took to the comments section to wish Amanda well. Others also relate to her situation.

Amanda Talks About Mom Having A Stroke
Later in the video, Amanda opened up about his mother having a stroke. According to the 1000-Lb Sisters star, her mother had bleeding on her brain, resulting in a stroke. They discovered at the hospital that the bleeding had been going on too long. Amanda never left her mother’s side, who eventually recovered. Amanda believes it was a miracle, adding that she has seen some miraculous things over the years, and she knows it happened to her as well.
Amanda added that her illness changed her point of view. She now wants to sit still and take a break, saying that she’s been pushing herself too hard. Amanda then tells her followers that believing in God truly helped her get through one of the most difficult stages in her life.
