Rapper Snoop Dogg, 54 , talked about the sad news of his 10-month-old granddaughter’s death in an Instagram post on Saturday, January 31, just a few hours after Cori announced Codi’s death. His granddaughter died just a few weeks after being released from a 10-month stay in a neonatal intensive care unit.
Snoop wrote “???” under a picture of himself with Cori, 26, and his sons, Corde, 31, and Cordell, 28.
As he shared a family photo on his Instagram Stories, Cordell wrote, “Lil sis, we got you forever.” Snoop Dogg’s Instagram comments are pouring in with love and support for this heartbreaking tragedy.
Snoop Dogg’s Daughter Shared the Death of Her Baby
Earlier that day, Cori posted on her Instagram Stories that her 10-month-old daughter, Codi, had died.
“Monday was the day I lost the love of my life. She wrote, “My Codi ?,” and sent a black and white picture of herself holding her baby.
In December 2024, Cori said she was having a daughter. In February 2025, she posted on Instagram that Codi was born six months early.
“I’ve cried and cried, I’ve compared and compared, blaming myself for not being able to give her everything she needed,” Cori wrote at the time. “Thank you, God, for getting me this far, even though things keep going wrong.”

Cori went on to say that she had a C-section to have her baby after doctors told her she had HELLP syndrome, which stands for hemolysis (the process of destroying red blood cells), elevated liver enzymes, and low platelets.
She spent 10 months in the NICU before coming home in early January. The Mayo Clinic says that a baby born before 28 weeks of pregnancy is considered extremely preterm. This means that the baby may have a number of health problems, such as trouble breathing, eating, and keeping their body temperature stable.
