Dolly Parton gives a major update since her health problems forced her to cancel her Las Vegas shows last fall. The video is a rare update from her first major public appearance in months. In October 2025, he posted a message to fans that said, “I ain’t dead yet.”
Dolly put off her Vegas shows because of medical problems that she didn’t want to talk about. A few weeks before, she said she had kidney stones. Last year, her sister, Freida, scared fans when she said she had been up all night praying for her sister, Dolly, but she later said she didn’t mean to scare anyone and that Dolly was fine.
According to a video shared by local station WBIR the country music star said on stage as she opened her Tennessee amusement park, Dollywood, for the season that she is “taking good care of” her health problems.
Dolly Parton said that after her husband Carl Dean died, she felt “worn down and worn out.” Before he died in March 2025 at the age of 82, the couple had been married for 58 years.

She added that she was staying positive…”I just got myself kind of where I needed to build myself back up spiritually, emotionally, and physically. But all is good. It didn’t slow me down.”
Dolly’s amusement park, Dollywood, just opened for its 41st season and there are no signs of stopping. Dolly said in her onstage Q&A that no, there were a lot of rumors going around, and no, she did not marry Sylvester Stallone.
