Lawrence Jones, co-host of Fox and Friends, has given an update on his health to explain why he hasn’t been on the morning news show in a while. Jones has been gone from the show for more than ten days now, which made fans on social media angry about the show and worried about where Jones has been.
Lawrence reaches out to fans on social media
“Hey family! Jones, 33, wrote on social media on January 21, “I want to assure you all that I’m doing well.” “I had eye surgery not too long ago, and I’ll be back to work soon. In the future, I’ll tell you all about what happened to me.
He said, “God is truly amazing.” Fox has been a huge help during this whole thing, making sure I get the best care possible. “See you all soon.”
Comments poured in to Fox and Friends wanting to know what happened
“What’s going on with Fox & Friends?” one user on X wrote last week. “Not having your regular hosts has messed up the continuity I thought you had planned. None of the three hosts were on today! Where is Lawrence Jones?

Lawrence Jones’ fan base is strong
X comments wanted to know where Jones was and when he was coming back. Comments flooded in.
“OK Fox News what is going on with Lawrence Jones please inform the viewers that watch him every morning and we’re not seeing him for over a week.”
“Someone else agreed: “Please, where is Lawrence Jones? He is so good and needs to be on the show!!!”

Since September 2023, when he became a permanent co-host, the broadcaster has been a regular on the morning show. He has worked for Fox since 2018. He was the youngest Black co-host on cable news when he was 30.
He now hosts the show with Brian Kilmeade and Ainsley Earhardt from 6 a.m. to 9 a.m. Eastern.
