Since TLC’s Matt Roloff’s divorce from Amy Roloff in 2016, fans of Little People, Big World have watched Matt with his girlfriend, Caryn Chandler.
In 2023, he got engaged to Caryn, who used to be a manager at Roloff Farms. This engagement upset a majority of LPBW fans, as most of them never accepted her due to how her divorce from Amy played out.
But in late 2023, they broke off their engagement without warning, shocking LPBW fans because the couple had looked to support each other in public.
The deal between the two was that when Matt finished building Caryn’s “dream house,” they would set a wedding date. Caryn allegedly could not deal with Matt’s bossiness while he built her dream house. She later said it wasn’t HER dream house; it was his. Since they broke up, both have been polite and have definitely gone their separate ways. Caryn claimed she never wanted the dream house; they both disagree on what really happened.
Matt Roloff Lives Life To Its Fullest After Caryn
The TLC reality star shares pictures from his trip to Cabo and everywhere else he lands on Instagram. His pictures of Matt, 64, having fun in the sun and warm weather at a fancy resort, and eating out with friends at different restaurants. Roloff also posted a picture of himself by the pool, shirtless, just a few steps from the beach, with a stunning view of the ocean. He is also sharing ‘date nights’ in Cabo. His caption read, “I’m in Cabo and that was the Cabo Cantina in my last post…. Not to be confused with Baja Cantina, another great place. Having fun eating lots of tacos and listening to great music / bands. Most importantly, meeting wonderful people from faraway lands.”
LPBW Fan Calls Matt ‘Party Animal’
He seemed to relax with his friends over drinks and even took pictures with the enthusiastic staff. One picture has fans wondering if Matt found a new love since the Caryn breakup. He’s smiling big with a plate of Cabo cuisine with a pretty blonde lady. She’s pulling him in towards her and is very cozy. Fans have asked if that was Matt’s new girlfriend. Some fans think it is the waitress or an LPBW fan. Either way, Matt is having a blast from the looks of things.

Matt Roloff Mended Fences With Kids After Breakup With Caryn
After the engagement ended, people started to wonder about Matt’s dating status, but he hasn’t confirmed any new connections. Right now, he is focused on his family, which he neglected while he was with Caryn. He’s focused on Roloff Farms and other personal projects. He posts updates on his grandchildren and farm activities on social media, but he doesn’t say anything about a new romantic partner. People are genuinely interested in his love life, but it’s important to give him space as he adjusts to this shift. Matt Roloff is still single as of early 2026. He is busy making his wrongs right with all of his kids.
