General Hospital spoilers: Recently, Kirsten Storms (Maxie Jones) called the police over some hacking accusations. Now the latest is a restraining order against her. Storms is no longer under contract with the soap. Kirsten returned to social media to update fans. Her answer to whether she was returning is surprising. Read on for all of the details.
Recently, the soap star’s ex-husband, Brandon Barash, says Kirsten Storms has been acting strange, and he is concerned about his daughter’s safety. The actor has a daughter named Harper Rose, who is 12, with Storms. He also has a son, who is 3; he shares with his current wife. A judge has now admitted she’s going through a mental health crisis.
Court documents show that Brandon filed for and was granted an emergency restraining order against Kirsten.
Storms posted about the incidents on April 9, months after ex-hubby Brandon Barash (ex-Johnny Zacchara on GH, ex-Stefan and Jake DiMera on Days of Our Lives) got a protective order.

Kirsten Storms Goes On Instagram Over Hacking Crisis
General Hospital fans have expressed concern for Storms over her post about a hacking crisis.
The GH star opened up about her struggles. She got on Instagram and complained that things would disappear when she used the Wi-Fi on her cell phone.
Storms also said the Franklin PD was notified and was investigating this situation.
Storms also said that she had break-in drama at her apartment in Tennessee, and that has been a topic of discussion in some of her Instagram posts.
Kirsten Storms also spoke of her eviction notice on Instagram and asked for advice, but all of this comes after Brandon Barash was granted a temporary restraining order against his ex-wife.

Storms Told Ex-Husband She Could Not Take Care Of Daughter
Kirsten reached out to Barash on May 19, 2025, saying she was “having delusions and hallucinations” and “didn’t think she should have the child for her parenting time,” he says.
His current wife helped her get into the facility, and she was placed on a mental hold, he said. “After she was released, Kirsten acted like nothing had happened,” Brandon said.
In November 2025, Brandon said, Kirsten called him saying there were people breaking into her apartment, stealing things and putting them in her car to “mess with her.
Brandon Reports Mental Health Spiral – Gets Supervised Visits
Barash argued Storms was on a mental downward spiral, citing alleged hallucinations and delusions in 2025, and the judge sided with him.
Brandon says a friend of Kirsten’s told him that she thinks the actress is abusing Adderall and maybe other drugs and has had “repeated episodes of melting down, being triggered, and hearing things/voices that weren’t there.”
Storms is still permitted to see her minor daughter with Barash, but for now, the visits are supervised. Brandon Barash and Kirsten Storms will have to appear in front of a judge sometime this week to have that restraining order reviewed.
Kirsten Storms’ Return Update
Storms is no longer under contract, but Maxie will presumably need to be part of the action after Cassius Faison (Ryan Paevey) is revealed to be Nathan West’s (Ryan Paevey) twin brother down the road. Storms returned to social media and answered the question fans have been asking about her future on General Hospital. Fans have been anticipating her return. Storms said:
Given what’s been going on, I can’t say I will be comfortable heading back to Los Angeles and returning to work,” Storms wrote.
“This has been an eye-opening experience about the downside of my profession,” Storms shared. She ended her statement with, “My daughter is my entire life; she is (and always will be) my first priority.” It seems more likely Storms wil not be returning and a recast will happen.
