It was Alex Jones’s last broadcast on Infowars before the show was shut down ahead of a takeover by the satirical news site The Onion, and he went on an on-air tirade in his final show.

“Those show trials I went through taught me so much. “I knew there were shows like The Truman Show,” Jones said in his final monologue on Infowars.

“When you realize they’re so corrupt, they have coordinated scripts run by the CIA in court hearings, and you’re just like, ‘Oh my God. I thought I knew how bad it was, and I was naive.’ And when that hits you, it’s like a horse kicking you. It is like being kicked in the balls by Godzilla.”

Jones went on for several minutes, insisting that he is not “putting a good face on this, this is the reality, our enemies are falling apart,” while also taking a swipe at President Donald Trump, whom he has grown increasingly critical of.

“They think they’re gonna have their big victory. They think it’s all funny. They think it’s all cool. No, this is the beginning of the end. We didn’t ride in on Trump, he rode in on our train. He was useful as far as he went.”

Jones’ company is being liquidated with him owing nearly $1.5 billion in defamation damages to families of victims of the Sandy Hook Elementary School shooting. On his show, Jones falsely said the 2012 massacre that killed 26 people, including 20 children, was a hoax and that grieving parents were “crisis actors”

Parody Site Wants InfoWars Ownership

The Onion is attempting to hijack Infowars and turn it into a parody site that mocks conspiracy theories promoted by far-right figures such as Jones, and making money for the Sandy Hook families.

The Onion last month submitted a new bid after a judge rejected its previous takeover bid in November 2024 over concerns about the way the bidding process unfolded, and whether the satirical outlet should have been declared the winner.

The ownership of Infowars remains unresolved after a Texas appeals court approved an emergency motion by Jones’ lawyers to temporarily halt a transfer of assets.

It’s just insane, unprecedented stalling,” said Collins, a former Daily Beast editor, in a statement. “It does nothing but delay our deal with the receiver to take control of Infowars.

Alex Jones Is Not Done

For his part, Jones is already proclaiming the end of Infowars, while also launching a new website, AlexJonesLive.

“The state court just stopped the little rat, confessed satanist, from coming in to wear our skin for months while we launch our operation,” Jones said.

“I’ll be sitting there living in a modest house, and I’ll have a modest car that I love, and they’ll think, oh, we’ll take your money, Jones, shut up. I am ready to die for this shit. You think taking my money does something? It makes me want to strangle you in the spirit.”

Jones finished his tirade by addressing his audience: “You are the Infowars, and it lives forever.
