The OP claims that Katie’s Instagram Q&A shows that she and her family had a recent falling out, possibly as a result of Travis’s admission of infidelity. They also think that because Katie wants to concentrate more on peace, their decision to relocate was more impulsive than anticipated.
Others suggest that following her miscarriage and Travis’s infidelity, Katie might have made some snap decisions and misinterpreted some of her family members who disapproved of her behavior. In any case, a lot of people still think that Travis’s infidelity set things off, since if he hadn’t had an affair, Katie wouldn’t be attending therapy in the first place. “To clarify what I meant when I said I lost about 90% of my family relationships After choosing to address painful things from my childhood I quickly learned that not everyone responds to honesty and healing with support.
She continued, “Some people choose silence!! Some choose distance. Some choose to minimize or avoid uncomfortable truths altogether. But when someone has been repeatedly harmed, staying silent or distancing yourself despite knowing the truth can become its own form of betrayal. Neutrality doesn’t always equal innocence, and it certainly doesn’t equal support! I stayed silent for a long time and I’m not doing that anymore”
