Bringing Up Bates Star Katie Bates Takes Jab At Travis
It seems Bringing Up Bates star Katie Bates takes a jab at Travis Clark on social media. She went to her Instagram Story to share a photo of herself holding her bible. The page and verse she has it open to speak volumes. Everyone knows she is struggling with the fact that Travis cheated on her.
He went public with his confession in January, feeling that he needed to take accountability for his actions. The announcement came just after Katie announced a miscarriage. Travis admits he does not deserve Katie’s forgiveness, but she has spoken out herself, saying her goal is to preserve her marriage. They are focusing on moving forward with both of them seeking counseling, both together and individually. Katie also noted she does have legal counsel helping her through things as well. This is not something Katie takes lightly, and they want to do what’s best for their two children and their family.

They may be trying to work through their problems, but the Bible verse Katie shared says a lot about how she’s feeling toward her husband. Fans pointed out one of the verses on the page, which is Proverbs 13:5.
Proverbs 13:5 says, “The righteous hate falsehood, but the wicked bring shame and disgrace. 6Righteousness guards the man of integrity, but wickedness undermines the sinner.…” Translated using the New Living Translation of the Bible, the verse means, “The godly hate lies; the wicked cause shame and disgrace.”

Fans React To Katie’s Post

- “Even if it takes a few years, I really hope she has this revelation and moves on from him. She can truly do better. It’s devastating to end a marriage but worth it if you’ll be better off in the end.”
- “It says up at the top A Righteous Man Hates Lying. Sounds appropriate for what Travis needs to hear.”
- “As much as I’d like to think she is calling out her husband, I think it’s more likely that she’s reading proverbs 13 because it’s the 13th day of the month.”
