‘General Hospital’ spoilers reveal that news of Cassius Faison, also known as “fake Nathan West” (Ryan Paevey), dying will circulate, along with Josslyn Jacks’ (Eden McCoy) lie that he was Jenz Sidwell’s (Carlo Rota) main ally instead of Cullum.

Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) will end up confronting Josslyn for her dishonesty and for tarnishing Cassius’ reputation, but at least Josslyn managed to arrange Valentin and Jason Morgan’s (Steve Burton) release from WSB custody.

General Hospital spoilers indicate that Cassius Faison, also known as “fake Nathan West” (Ryan Paevey), might return in the future. Cassius’ departure was left unresolved since Z (John Oliver) staged his death and offered him a position at the WSB.

Ryan Paevey Not Gone For Good

Even though Ryan Paevey has left the show for now, there’s a possibility he could return for another run later on just like all of the dead Cassadines and Father Cesar Faison. After some time, Paevey could reprise his role as Cassius and possibly get a new beginning in Port Charles.

Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) agreed to make a deal with Z, which involved discrediting Cassius and exaggerating his involvement in the cold fusion situation.

By signing a statement against Cassius and acting as if Ross Cullum (Andrew Hawkes) was a misunderstood hero, Josslyn was able to obtain updates about Valentin Cassadine’s (James Patrick Stuart) and Jason Morgan’s (Steve Burton) release.

James has been feeling low ever since “Nathan” left unexpectedly and is now questioning whether he’ll ever see his “dad” again.

James Will Grieve His Double Losses

Some emotional moments seem likely on GH when James discovers Cassius is “dead” and learns that Cassius was actually his uncle. James will continue to grieve, which might make it easier for him to forgive Cassius in the future.

If Cassius returns, he could still take on the role of a father figure for James, even if he isn’t his biological father. In August 2026, Paevey told Deadline:

“We talked a bit and he asked would I consider returning for awhile, talking story, floated different story ideas involving different time commitments of me, and I thought if we’re going to do this we should really do it and surprise the fans with a meaty storyline.”

Ryan Paevey has many things going on in his personal life; he continues his jewelry making and maybe other film projects. It is most certain Paevey will be back as Cassius Faison because viewers know General Hospital villains never really die.. The door was left open for Cassius to return again.

What do you think? Is Cassius Faison gone for good, or will he return dramatically just like his villain father, Cesar Faison?
