Lots of actors and actresses come and go. Recently, Grahn spoke out about her future with the soap. Is she heading out the door and leaving GH?
General Hospital: Is Nancy Lee Grahn Saying Goodbye?
General Hospital fans love Alexis Davis. She’s great at being a lawyer, a mother and a grandmother. At times, she can even be quite comical. She’s become such a staple on the show that it is hard to imagine it without her around. Nancy Lee Grahn has been on the soap for 30 years. She’s 70 years old, so retirement could be on her radar. Is she planning to leave the show?
In a recent interview, Grahn spoke out about how much she loves the show and where she works. She also shot down remarks that soaps are a training ground for actors. She said, “I don’t like when people go, ‘This is a training ground. It’s a great training ground for actors.’ It’s a f—ing war zone, man. You better know what you’re doing because you won’t last.”
With all that said, is she sticking around? Grahn revealed to everyone’s delight that she just signed a contract for three more years of portraying Alexis Davis on GH. She doesn’t plan on going anywhere and expressed how much she loves doing what she does.
A New Romance For Alexis?
It’s also been a hot minute since Alexis Davis had a love affair. Is there a chance she might find someone to sizzle with in the future? Some fans have loved seeing her and Ric Lansing getting along on screen. He seems fully devoted to Elizabeth Baldwin, but could those feelings dissipate with the chance to rekindle things with Alexis?
There are lots of possibilities, and at some point, she might find herself in another romantic relationship to spice things up. It might be Ric, or it might be someone new entirely. Elizabeth might find herself having feelings for Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna). Rumors have flown that the soap might be gearing toward a Dante/Liz pairing.
