General Hospital is kicking off July Sweeps with a bang, literally. With Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota) exposing Cassius Faison’s (Ryan Paevey) identity and then holding Ava Jerome (Maura West), Ethan Lovett (Nathan Dean) and ADA Justine Turner (Nazneen Contractor) at gunpoint, anything can happen. Spoilers for the hit daytime drama reveal that there will be some major character exits. Who will be leaving Port Charles?
General Hospital Wrapping Up Big Storylines
There seem to be a lot of new faces coming to Port Charles, and with that also come some departures. There has been a lot of speculation about what will go down during July. Everyone knows that Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) is set to return on July 13. Will his return be due to Ross Cullum (Andrew Hawkes) finally going down for his heinous crimes?
It looks like “Z” will be appearing to save the day at the end of this week. It seems he will be played by comedian John Oliver. Jack Brennan (Chris McKenna) begged Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) to go to Geneva to get Z, and he obliged. Now, Z is going to step in and stop this madness that has been plaguing Port Charles.
Most believe that Valentin will not go back to prison and will now be deemed a hero and return, along with Z, to help those in trouble. The question now is, will Cullum die or go to prison to face a life of torture and agony?
Along with the cold fusion storyline wrapping up, it looks like Willow Cain (Katelyn MacMullen) is finally one step closer to getting what she deserves. Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) may be about to get his life back.
General Hospital Saying Goodbye To Multiple Characters
There has already been plenty of drama brewing, and with that will come some major exits. One person who seems poised to take the fall is ADA Turner. Some spoilers suggest that perhaps she is going to get caught in the crossfire between Sidwell and Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard). There’s a good chance she is one of those exiting the show. She just might declare her love for Sonny before taking her final breath.
Of course, Sidwell can’t stay here happily on Spoon Island; he will either go to prison or escape with the cold fusion project. He might be leaving Port Charles, but it’s almost certain he will return at some point to wreak more havoc on the citizens of Port Charles.
Then there is Cassius Faison. Spoilers also indicate that Ryan Paevey is ready to make another exit from the soap. He will leave town to avoid facing the wrath of everyone he betrayed by concealing his identity. Will he be gone for good?
Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) is coming face-to-face with Cullum. No way writers would take her out, so she may be the one to take down Cullum. Or, there is always the chance that her prince in shining armor shows up to finish Cullum off. Will Valentin save Carly and Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy)?
Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) just stepped into Brennan’s room in the nick of time. Will she be able to save Jack from an untimely death? Chances are, Jack is going nowhere, and this will further set them both up for a romance soon.
Spoilers indicate there’s lots to come and bring jaw-dropping moments during the coming weeks. Who do you think will die? Who will leave Port Charles for good?
