1000-lb Sisters Show Started With 2 Sisters’ Weight Loss Journeys
When 1000-lb Sisters first came out in 2020, it largely focused on Amy and Tammy Slaton’s journeys to lose weight. Chris wanted to lose weight, too, just like his famous sisters. He ultimately had weight-loss surgery in 2022 after losing enough weight to be eligible for it. The pounds just fell off. This past season, Brittany also got approved for gastric bypass and was very successful in losing 70 lbs. She has diabetes, so this achievement was a huge win for her.
Brittany also discussed having a child of her own with Chris after she lost the weight. Chris has two children from his previous marriage.
Brittany Combs Admits Show Is Scripted?
A viewer shared on a social media forum that Chris was doing a TikTok Live. Brittany said she gets along with Amy and that it’s the editing that makes her look like she doesn’t, suggesting that the show’s portrayal of their relationship is misleading and not what it is in real life. Some fans felt Brittany could have been nicer on their trip to New Orleans, but they also don’t realize that Brittany’s mother had just passed away a month before.
