Bringing Up Bates alum Katie Bates has been sharing the pain she’s felt over the past few months after finding out her husband was having an affair. The news broke about his infidelity just as Katie shared with the world that she miscarried baby number three. Even though times have been hard, that hasn’t stopped her from displaying her pain online. The hurt she has endured is monetized by all her influencer posts.
In her latest post, Katie begins by slamming fans who are judging her for not knowing exactly what to say or do the moment everything bad happened. She said it just doesn’t work that way. Bates also shared that the past few months have been teaching her about taking things day by day.
Katie went on to say that she’s focusing on her mental health and just healing. Her new change in mindset led her to believe she needed a change in scenery.

Big Road Trip With Two Toddlers
Katie Bates shared video clips from the beginning to the end of their two-week trip to Florida as a family. During the video, she narrated everything she’s been feeling and also details about their trip. It appears to have been her idea to escape to Florida for a few weeks to focus on her family.
She admits they do not know if they will move there or what’s to come. Katie also said that her therapist has taught her about the value of a fresh start, whatever that may look like for her and Travis.

She also shares that there are hard moments, but that they are focusing on doing the next right thing for their family. She is choosing to trust that God has a plan even when things are not easy.
Katie concluded her video by sharing that they had two cars with them and she drove ten hours back to Tennessee, which is the most she’s driven alone.
