General Hospital has a big episode coming up on Monday, July 13, as the ABC soap celebrates a milestone. Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) will be dealing with intense feelings, and Jack Brennan (Chris McKenna) will warn Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) about her choices.
Since it’s the show’s 16,000th episode, unexpected events are in store. Jason receives surprising news while held captive and soon finds himself headed back to Port Charles.
During the journey, Jason appears battered by his ordeal and spends the flight reflecting on what lies ahead. Meanwhile, Brennan warns Carly.
Brennan might focus on Valentin Cassadine’s (James Patrick Stuart) previous interest in Anna Devane (Finola Hughes), telling Carly that she’ll never fully have his attention.

Valentin Visits Anna
Elsewhere, Valentin visits Anna at her apartment and delivers a message from Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy)—really just a way to bring Anna and Valentin closer.
Josslyn hopes Valentin’s preoccupation with Anna will eventually separate him from Carly.
Anna has already been informed by Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) about being gaslighted, but now Valentin will support her.
Valentin will express regret for what Anna endured, knowing Ross Cullum (Andrew Hawkes) and Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota) were responsible for her being held hostage.

Anna grows uneasy, questioning how Valentin has certain information.
During their discussion, Anna may experience visions of Peter August (Wes Ramsey) and try not to let Valentin catch on.
Anna will receive a warning on Monday’s episode, but it’s unclear if it’s from Valentin or from Peter.
Tracy Confronts Laura
At GH, Laura Collins (Genie Francis) will recommend someone to take the 16th board seat, a nod to the 16,000th episode. It seems Laura wants Willow Cain (Katelyn MacMullen) for the role, which disgusts Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot).
Tracy confronts Laura, leading to a disagreement, while Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) thinks Willow would be a great addition.
Willow also becomes central to the ongoing conflict between Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) and Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard).
Brook Lynn Admits She Set Up Willow
Brook Lynn admits she framed Willow and soon wonders if she pushed Chase toward his ex. Chase now has to decide about his relationship and the family he’s starting with Brook Lynn.
Ultimately, Chase seems ready to put Brook Lynn and Phoebe (Luna and Lucia Creighton) first, even if he doesn’t agree with all of Brook Lynn’s choices. However, Brook Lynn hasn’t told Chase the full story, since he still doesn’t know she left the crash site that night.
That secret could cause future problems for Brook Lynn. Lucas Jones (Van Hansis) realizes Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) is single again.
Britt is now thinking about her future, since she’s clear of Huntington’s disease.
GH writers said: “Jason returns from abroad a changed man. His imprisonment has had a profound effect on his outlook and how he intends to conduct the rest of his life. His decision will have big implications for Danny, Britt, the Quartermaines, Anna, and especially Sonny. pic.twitter.com/3kCn9DTv1b

Dr. Tristan Roberts Makes Debut
Britt will also accuse someone of something on Monday’s show, possibly involving an encounter with a new face.
Once Dean Geyer arrives as Dr. Tristan Roberts, Britt’s first meeting with him won’t go smoothly. Which means these two might be coupling up since the best relationships on General Hospital start rocky.
General Hospital spoilers say the 16,000th episode will be packed with plenty of action, so stay tuned. Leave your thoughts in the Daily News Corner comments below.
