At the time, Josh also admitted to molesting his sisters. Now, his brother Joseph faces charges for lewd acts with a minor. He was extradited to Florida, where the alleged conduct took place. With Joseh’s arrest, everyone is talking about the family again on social media. It’s been revealed that in the past, Josh had asked for help with addiction. Counting On: Josh Duggar Allegedly Struggled With An Addiction
Counting On alum Josh Duggar continues to serve his time in prison for possession of child p*rnography. Now, brother Joseph is facing charges for sexual misconduct with a minor. Fans are discussing both arrests on social media. One person brought up Amy Duggar King’s book. In the book, she states that Josh sought help for addiction.
He admitted to molesting five girls and to cheating on his wife.
Cousin Amy says she was the first to learn that Josh is addicted to pornography. She discovered it on his computer. He then confessed to having an addiction and molesting his sisters after the Ashley Madison scandal occurred. According to Amy, she wrote in her book that Josh asked his parents for help with his p*rn addiction, but they would not listen.
Jim Bob Duggar’s Family Influence
The social media post presented by a fan went on to state that Jim Bob Duggar’s father was allegedly an alcoholic. His drinking problem caused issues within the family that led to abuse. The post claims and alleges that Grandpa Duggar caused a lot of chaos in Jim Bob’s life. The post read, “his father had a drinking problem, couldn’t financially support his family, had irresponsible spending habits, physically abused his wife and children, sexually abused young people and spent time in jail.”
Most fans were skeptical about what Amy Duggar King put in her book. Many said they don’t trust her. One fan asked if it was false information; why wouldn’t the family protest it? Some believe it is because the Duggars tend to just stay quiet when scandals erupt. They have not had much to do with Amy in a long time.
