General Hospital (GH) spoilers indicate that Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota) might soon find himself facing legal trouble. Will Sidwell be written off or stay in Port Charles for more evil antics?
This is exactly what Lucas Jones (Van Hansis) was aiming for when he launched a daring plan that put his own safety at risk.
After Lucas stole the blackmail evidence for Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and Laura Collins (Genie Francis), he realized that true freedom was still out of reach. With Sidwell still posing a threat to their loved ones, Lucas knew that none of them were truly safe.
General Hospital Spoilers: Lucas Exposes Sidwell
That’s why Lucas concluded that the best way to stop Sidwell was to catch him in the act of another crime.
Lucas didn’t want to endanger anyone else, so he accepted that he would have to take the risk himself.
Now that Lucas has provoked Sidwell into shooting him three times, the plan appears to be working.
There may soon be a dramatic reveal involving Lucas’ bulletproof vest and possibly a hidden camera.
Lucas might have ensured there’s video evidence to give to the authorities in upcoming episodes.
GH Spoilers: Chase Arrests Sidwell?
GH spoilers mention that Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) will make an arrest that grabs major attention on June 12.
Chase will take someone well-known in Port Charles into custody.
Could it be Sidwell who ends up in handcuffs? That’s very possible if Lucas’ plan succeeds.
However, this doesn’t guarantee that the charges will stick. Sidwell has influence, with allies like Cassius Faison aka “Nathan West” (Ryan Paevey) inside the PCPD and connections to judges he’s willing to bribe or intimidate.
Still, Lucas could score a temporary win if Sidwell is arrested for attempted murder.
Lucas will likely feel a sense of accomplishment if his plan results in Sidwell being arrested and taken to the station.
He may congratulate himself, but the situation might not be resolved yet. Sidwell could seek revenge and go after Lucas or someone close to him in the future.
Is GH Losing Another Super Villain In Sidwell?
Will Sidwell be written off or come back more vengeful than ever? GH just lost one villain in Pascal; can the soap lose another? Carlo Rota’s General Hospital contract is recurring, which means he is booked strictly as the storyline requires. Rota is free to pursue other projects, but has no guaranteed income. But General Hospital spoilers suggest Sidwell will have police-related issues to deal with for now, which could take a very long time to work out, so stay tuned.
