General Hospital fans know that Willow Tait Cain (Katelyn MacMullen) is more evil than anyone could have imagined. She shot Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) twice in the back. Now, she’s keeping him quiet and out of her way with a paralytic drug provided by villain Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota). She was found not guilty of shooting Drew and cannot be put on trial twice. However, she now knows that Kai Taylor (Jens Austin Astrup) and Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) were there the night Drew was shot. She knows that they know she is the one who really pulled the trigger. Willow won’t let them get away with it. How will she set up Kai for Drew’s shooting?
General Hospital: Willow Has Big Plans
General Hospital fans saw Willow overhear Trina and Kai admitting they know it was she who shot Drew. She’s obviously not going to risk them spilling their secret to the police or anyone, for that matter. She’s come too far to let them destroy what she’s beginning to build. Willow is finally able to see her children; she’s now in Congress, and other than Sidwell using her, she feels more independent than ever before.
Willow isn’t about to let Trina and Kai ruin it all. On Monday’s episode, Willow tells Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) that she needs to get background checks on all her staff members, including Kai. There’s a good chance something will appear in the search to bring negative attention to Kai. Of course, the red flag would be courtesy of Willow and probably Sidwell.
Setting Kai Up
Mentioning to Chase that she needs background checks could also give her an opportunity to ask about Kai and if he was ever a suspect in Drew’s shooting. After all, Kai does have a key to Drew’s house, and there were no signs of forced entry. Plus, Kai’s fingerprints were all over Drew’s bat. Plus, Trina had a motive for taking down Drew. He had blackmailed her mother and had Curtis wrapped around his finger as well. She could say that Kai would seemingly do anything for Trina, even shoot his boss and mentor, at least according to Willow.
Perhaps Willow is going to give Chase a little nudge to dig deep and find out if Kai could be the guilty party in Drew’s shooting. If she doesn’t go that far, she could threaten Kai and Trina with framing them for the shooting if they opened their mouths about what they know from that night.
Right now, it’s unknown what Willow will do. But one way or another, she won’t let Kai and Trina ruin her life and everything she’s building for herself and her children.
