General Hospital spoilers indicate that Charlotte Cassadine’s (Bluesy Burke) crush could spell trouble. Charlotte’s feelings for Giovanni “Gio” Palmieri (Giovanni Mazza) are obvious, and she might start plotting to break him up from Emma Scorpio-Drake (Braedyn Bruner) as she lets her Cassadine instincts take over.
Charlotte May Be The Next Esme Prince
In the July 21 episode, Charlotte was seen flirting with Gio by the pool, looking for his advice, and connecting with him over music. Fans could almost see hearts in Charlotte’s eyes as she gazed at Gio—until Emma arrived and disrupted the moment.
Charlotte is still in high school and clearly too young for Gio. Even if she were old enough, she wouldn’t stand a chance since Gio is fully devoted to Emma right now. Still, that might not stop Charlotte from becoming obsessed with Gio or letting her jealousy get out of hand.
Charlotte’s jealousy became clear when Emma showed up and Gio was affectionate with her. Emma and Gio are always openly in love, but Charlotte was not happy to see their passionate moment. The more Charlotte witnesses their happiness, the more determined she may become to ruin their relationship.
Charlotte Is A Natural Schemer By Bloodline
Charlotte has always had a scheming side, which isn’t surprising given that she’s the granddaughter of Helena Cassadine (Constance Towers). She might channel Helena’s influence as she tries to push Emma aside and win Gio over for herself.
Gio, however, seems to see Charlotte more as a little sister, especially since she’s related to his half-brother, Rocco Falconeri (Finn Carr). Charlotte has misunderstood their bond, but her obsession with Gio could still stir up chaos. She may be following in Esme Prince’s (Avery Kristen Pohl) footsteps and won’t take no for an answer. Let’s hope Emma or Gio are not hurt in the process.
