General Hospital fans saw Ethan Lovett (Nathan Dean) confess to Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) that he is baby Phoebe’s father. He was very adamant that they let Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) and Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) adopt the baby. Plus, he wanted to ensure it was a closed adoption and nobody would find out the paternity of the baby. Alexis finally agreed. Then comes Ava Jerome (Maura West). She also saw the picture of Delilah Wilson (Lily Cardone) and Ethan together. What he said to her might have just revealed there is more to the story that he’s not revealing.
General Hospital: Ethan’s Keeping Secrets
General Hospital fans are meant to believe that Ethan is Phoebe’s father. However, there are big clues that this is not the case. He says he and Delilah only hooked up once and were meeting in Port Charles to discuss the pregnancy. When he was calling her from the pier, he said the only way he could help her was if she showed up to meet him.
He obviously didn’t know where she was staying and didn’t once ask about the baby she was carrying. When he was talking to Ava, he told her that Phoebe would have the best life with Brook Lynn and Chase, and he wanted the baby to be happy. Letting them raise his daughter would be for the best.
However, what he said next may have just blown the cover on his story. He told Ava that he promised Delilah he would make sure her baby had a good life. It sounds like he is protecting the baby from someone. The big question is from whom? Delilah was scared, and that is not how someone acts when they are meeting the father of her baby to discuss the pregnancy.
The Tattoo Is A Big Clue
Writers were sure to focus on the tattoo on Delilah’s wrist. That tattoo means something, and it just might reveal more about the danger Delilah and her baby were in. There has been a lot of speculation that the tattoo is somehow tied to the Dawn of Day cult. It’s not the same one Willow Cain (Katelyn MacMullen) has, but it could have had some variations over the years. Plus, Shiloh has been mentioned quite frequently lately.
Something is bound to happen that will reveal what Ethan is really hiding. Who could really be the baby daddy, because it looks more and more like it is not Ethan, even though he claims it is.
