Jon & Kate Plus 8 star Collin Gosselin just shared a picture of himself with Alexia Umansky, the daughter of Mauricio Umansky and Kyle Richards. Soon after, there were rumors floating online about the cast lineup for the next season of Special Forces. July 15th FOX confirmed Alexia Umansky, Mauricio Umansky, Candace Cameron Bure, Ruby Rose, Maxim Naumov, Brandi Granville, and others.
Confirmed: Collin Gosselin Is On Season 5 Special Forces
Clues before FOX confirmed it were that Collin only follows 51 Instagram accounts, although he follows all of the Special Forces DS instructors and a number of the reported cast members. Alexia is also following the show’s instructors and a number of rumored cast members.
Between March and June, Collin didn’t post on social media for about three months. Season 5 is back September 25th, coinciding with the publication of Collin’s memoir, ‘In the Shadow of Eight.’
When considered separately, none of these facts provide any confirmation. However, when you combine them all, it appears that Collin may have a very significant conclusion to 2026 with the publication of his memoir and a potential appearance on Special Forces.

It appears that Collin may have a very significant conclusion to 2026 with the publication of his memoir and appearance on Special Forces.
An intriguing twist is that Kate Gosselin, Collin’s estranged mother, participated in the first season of Special Forces but was sent home on the first day. During a challenge that forced her to fall backward out of a helicopter into the open ocean, she had a serious neck injury on the first day of the show, ending her tenure. Kate has been accused by Collin of stealing his Jon & Kate Plus 8 money in his new book.
