General Hospital spoilers indicate there are more shocking moments coming in July. One of the biggest, most anticipated moments will come on Monday when the historic 16,000th episode airs on ABC with the return of Jason Morgan (Steve Burton). Fans are eager to hear what he has to say about the time he was held in captivity by the WSB. He may not know yet that it was Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) who secured his freedom, along with Valentin Cassadine’s (James Patrick Stuart). He is coming back a changed man. Plus, Justine Turner (Nazeen Contractor) kissed Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) in public, forcing them both to admit they have strong feelings for one another. Spoilers hint that a shocking marriage proposal could be approaching quickly. Who will it be?
General Hospital: Jason’s a Changed Man
It’s not that Jason Morgan hasn’t been held captive before, but this time was different. This time changed him, and it’s already been revealed that his character will be taking on a new direction in life. Just before he was taken away, Jason and Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) declared their love for one another.
Will his return bring their relationship into focus once again? Could he decide that he needs to provide a steady family life for Danny Morgan, including having a mother figure around? While some fans hope to see a Britt/Jason reunion, chances are that ship has sailed. Jason has changed so much that there may be no coming back for him and Britt.
So, if not Jason and Britt, who else could possibly get engaged or at least have the opportunity to get engaged? ADA Turner planted a big kiss on Sonny after he saved her life from Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota). They can’t deny their feelings for each other, so could this prompt a secret proposal and commitment? Unfortunately, Justine may see that as too much of a risk, and would Sonny really be ready to take it that far with her? That knocks two couples out of the running.
Who Could Get Engaged?
This leaves one other couple that seems like a logical choice for an engagement. Valentin just reunited with Anna Devane (Finola Hughes). Spoilers say that on Friday, he will make his feelings clear. There’s a good chance that he no longer wants Anna on a romantic level. Instead, he may want Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) to understand his feelings for her are real and not going anywhere.
Valentin may propose to her to prove she’s the one for him. Fans are loving this pairing and the sizzling chemistry between them in the bedroom. There’s no doubt they will have many obstacles to overcome, but could this be the beginning of forever for them?
