The two announced that they would proceed with their original wedding date and plan to make it bigger than their first. Kaybrie and Warden had to tie the knot on May 5, 2026, due to the worsening health of Kaybrie’s father. He passed away just a few days after walking his daughter down the aisle. Kaybrie previously took to IG to share photos and clips from her wedding shower with Warden. It was a blue-themed ceremony, and the couple named it “Something Blue Before I Do.” Members of the Bates family were in attendance, such as Gil and Kelly Jo. Kaybrie also has her own family, and she’s thankful for everyone’s support and love.
She wrote, “Thank you for every thoughtful gift, every sweet word, and every prayer over this next chapter of our lives. your love and support mean more than you’ll ever know, and we’re so thankful to have such amazing people walking alongside us.” Some of the clips showed Kaybrie and Warden receiving a handful of gifts. But many Bringing Up Bates fans are calling out Kaybrie for how she reacted to the presents.
Kaybrie Faces Backlash Following Wedding Shower
Some Bringing Up Bates fans on social media react to Kaybrie’s latest IG clip, showcasing the gifts she received from her wedding shower. She wrote, “a little wedding shower gift haul ✨🫶🏼💐 we are so grateful for every thoughtful gift and for everyone who has celebrated this season with us. feeling so loved. 😚🤩.” But what made many people upset was how Kaybrie called the gifts as her “haul.” According to some, it seemed disrespectful. Others agree and mentioned that it’s too “tacky” to show off gifts online.
