‘Bringing Up Bates’ Travis Clark Admits To Having An Affair After Katie Bates’ Miscarriage Reveal
In an IG Stories post, Travis revealed that he did something horrible to his wife. The Bringing Up Bates star wrote, “This is hard to write, but I owe the truth and I owe an apology. I was unfaithful to my wife. I had an affair and repeatedly broke her trust. There is no excuse for what I did. The affair was my failure and my responsibility alone.”
Travis went on to say that no words can fix the damage he has done, and he regrets what he did to Katie. He continued, “I understand that an apology doesn’t repair what I broke, and forgiveness is not something I deserve or can ask for.”
While Travis didn’t dig deeper into who the third party is, he said that he’ll take full responsiblity for his actions. He’s working to change to be a better man, though it’s unclear if he and Katie will continue their marriage. He added, “I ask for privacy and grace for Katie as she processes this in her own time.”
What’s worse is that Travis’s confession to cheating happened right after Katie announced that she suffered from a miscarriage. Kelly Jo and Gil remain silent about the issue, though they may be giving the married couple time to navigate their issues.

The rumors about Travis’ cheating reignited due to Katie’s IG post last week. The Bringing Up Bates star uploaded a photo lighting up a candle with a caption, “Just me, them, and all the little moments that make mornings so sweet.” Many Redditors said that Katie’s caption wasn’t just a coincidence. Many fans agree, saying that she doesn’t usually post such cryptic messages.
