My 600-Lb Life cast member has died at the young age of 50 years old. In Season 3 this memorable lady became famous across the country as viewers saw her fight severe obesity, health problems, and emotional trauma. Before she got professional help, she weighed almost 800 pounds at her heaviest.

My 600-Lb Life’s Charity Pierce Has Passed Away
Her journey was one of the most memorable parts of the show. She lost a lot of weight, had skin removal surgeries, and had to deal with infections and personal problems. Later, Charity came back for “My 600-lb Life: Where Are They Now?” to talk about her ongoing health problems and her efforts to repair her relationships with her family, including her daughter Charly Jo.

Charity Pierce’s daughter says goodbye to mom
Charly Jo, Pierce’s daughter, wrote an emotional Facebook post on Tuesday to say that her mother had died. She said that her mother was with family and friends when she died.I wasn’t going to say anything about this. But the calling and texting are making my head feel like it’s on fire,” she wrote on January 27.

“Almost all immediate family knows so, my mom passed away today. She’s up with her momma and brother and sister and she’s finally at peace.”
“Charity fly high, momma,” Charly Jo said next. I hope you know how much I love you and how thankful I was to be with you when you died.
Charity Pierce Overcame Lots Of Health Obstacles
Over the past few years, Charity has had more health problems, including kidney cancer that required surgery.
A family member told TMZ that Pierce was in hospice care for two months before she died because she had ongoing health problems. Lymphedema and fluid buildup in her lungs were some of the health problems she had. Pierce passed away at 1:20 a.m. on Tuesday morning. There has been no official word on what caused the death.

In March 2020, Pierce gave an update on her health on Facebook, saying that she had been diagnosed with kidney cancer and had had several surgeries as part of her treatment plan.

More comments from fans: “This is sad, RIP Charity”
“I know these two women had a complicated relationship (as many mothers and daughters do), but after the last WATN I didn’t follow up with them. I hope they were at peace with the relationship they did have when Charity passed.”
Our condolences go out to the Pierce family. Come back to The Daily News Corner for more TLC news updates.
