General Hospital (GH) spoilers indicate that Willow Cain’s (Katelyn MacMullen) plan to silence Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) might not go as smoothly as she intended. Spoilers reveal Drew may still seek revenge and attempt to turn Willow’s life upside down.
Willow once wanted Drew gone for good, but now she regrets taking things to that extreme. While she wishes to stop drugging Drew, she’s worried he might reveal her involvement in his paralysis and that his “stroke” was orchestrated by her.
Jack Brennan (Chris McKenna) says he’s found the leverage Willow has been hoping for. Brennan claims that Drew misappropriated federal funds and is willing to provide Willow with proof as part of their arrangement.
Is Brennan Lying To Willow?
Of course, Brennan could just be telling Willow what she wants to hear to avoid another dose of the paralytic. Still, it’s plausible that Brennan found incriminating information about Drew, since he was already searching for it.
Even though Willow thinks she’s close to resolving the problem, there are a lot of ways her plan could backfire. For example, Willow and Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) still need to give Drew another dose or two before Brennan recovers enough to deliver the evidence. That leaves time for someone to uncover Willow’s actions, which could spell disaster.
Even if Willow manages to stay hidden and Drew recovers, there are still challenges ahead. Willow hopes that blackmailing Drew with this new information will keep him quiet about her actions, since he’ll want to remain a free man and be there for Scout Cain (Kayden Brenna Tokarski).
Willow should remember, though, that Drew might find other ways to retaliate. He doesn’t have to expose the fake stroke to have his revenge. Drew could employ other methods to undermine Willow’s life—he could go after her career or her children while keeping his own record clean.
Drew Cain Will Find a Way
In short, Drew is almost certain to find a way to retaliate, even if it doesn’t mean sending Willow to prison. General Hospital spoilers tease that Drew’s moment for payback is approaching, so keep an eye out for any trouble headed Willow’s way.
