General Hospital (GH) spoilers update for Friday, July 3, reveals that viewers will find out what happens to Cassius Faison, also known as fake Nathan West (Ryan Paevey), while Charlotte Cassadine (Bluesy Burke) sends out a call for help.
Danny Morgan (Asher Antonyzyn) will also defend Jason Morgan (Steve Burton), making for a packed episode.
With “Z” (John Oliver) arriving at the loading dock, he has just checked Cassius for a pulse. Although “Z” didn’t seem to find one, there’s still no official word yet on Cassius’ condition.
Fans Will Soon Discover Cassius’ True Fate
Because of “Z’s” intervention, Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) will be rushed to GH for immediate medical attention. After Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) and Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) escape the hostage area, they’ll go their separate ways.
Carly will go to the hospital, becoming upset when she can’t see Josslyn right away. Lucas Jones (Van Hansis) will try to calm Carly, while Obrecht will have a reunion with Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) at the PCPD.
This will lead to a discussion about Britt’s choice to hide her role in the cold fusion project and Cassius’ twin switch. Britt might claim she was protecting Liesl by keeping her in the dark, but Obrecht will suspect there’s more behind Britt’s actions.
Josslyn Knows Truth About Britt’s Fake Illness
Meanwhile, Josslyn recently overheard Ross Cullum (Andrew Hawkes) telling Cassius that Britt’s Huntington’s disease was never real, so that revelation will eventually reach Britt. Elsewhere, Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) will deal with Rocco Falconeri’s (Finn Carr) anger for turning Britt over to the police for kidnapping.
Even though Dante will say he was saving Britt from Cullum and his dangerous men, Rocco will disagree.
Lulu Spencer (Alexa Havins Bruening) will learn about Cassius taking Nathan’s place, which will come as a shock. Dante will share what he knows so far and will be there for Lulu as she processes why “Nathan” moved on from Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) so quickly.
Lulu Gets Pulled Into Another Crisis
At one point, Charlotte will send an SOS to Lulu, drawing her into yet another crisis. Lulu will step in to help Charlotte, which could mean a trip to the police station.
Charlotte will be there and will have to answer questions from Molly Lansing-Davis (Kristen Vaganos) as well as follow her guidance.
Additionally, Danny will declare Jason’s innocence during his time in the interrogation room on Friday. Danny’s goal will be to clear Jason’s name and get him back home where he belongs.
Will Cassius Stay In Port Charles After His Brutal Take Down?
GH viewers need to remember Cassius comes from very strong-willed parents who have long histories of being almost invincible; the Faison last name alone answers the question, “Does he survive?” Will he be pronounced dead, but it’s fake? It does not matter; he is Cesar Faison’s son and will be back eventually.
General Hospital fans will see lots of Ryan Paevey; after all, the actor came back for a juicy storyline and character, and it seems his character reveal is just the beginning. Paevey told Deadline, “We talked a bit and he asked would I consider returning for awhile, talking story, floated different story ideas involving different time commitments of me, and I thought if we’re going to do this we should really do it and surprise the fans with a meaty storyline.”
